We are a Madison based, local company with over 14 years of experience in the solar business. We have installed solar for homes, houses of faith and commercial businesses. We stand behind the equipment we install and we are committed members of the local community with membership in Dane Buy Local, RENEW Wisconsin, Legacy Solar Co-op, MREA, and others.

What kinds of warranties are offered on solar systems?

1. Workmanship Warranty - Midwest Solar Power offers a 5 year workmanship warranty
2. Solar Panel Warranty - Most solar panels offer a 25 year power production guarantee
3. Inverter Warranty - Most inverters have at least a 12 year warranty, with an optional upgrade to 25 years. Some come standard with a 25 year warranty
4. Optimizer Warranty - Most optimizers have a 25 year warranty.
5. It’s important to note that, once you are outside of our 5 year workmanship warranty, there may be labor costs associated with Midwest Solar Power coming out to replace a component, even if it is still under the manufacturer warranty.

Does Midwest Solar Power sell solar equipment?

Accepted Answer

Midwest Solar Power is a full service contractor. That means that we take care of every step in the solar installation process. We do not sell equipment directly to consumers. We start with an accurate design based on your home, the roof condition and pitch, the electrical usage and service interconnection as well as your budget and goals.
