The challenge with this site was that the home was an old Lustron engineered home with metal paneled roof and was oriented towards the east rather than the south.  Installation on the roof would have required penetrations through these panels.

We jointly designed a solar array with our customer, Dustin Imray, that would serve as both a solar array and a partial carport.  The use of galvanized steel and stained wood gave it a retro but futuristic look.
